I love nothing more than to connect with people.
It has always been my goal to strive to do what I can to help others - whether in a time of need or to share in their joy.
I love a chat - but I'm also a great listener and love hearing your stories and helping you any way I can.
I have a cheeky sense of humour- I also have an innate sense of pathos and genuine understanding.
With a great eye for detail, I revel in event planning and believe in always going above and beyond to get it 'just' right.
I've had vast experience handling groups in large numbers and can think quickly on my feet when necessary. Alternatively, I've had plenty of beautiful moments in smaller settings where the atmosphere lends itself to a quieter, more intimate ceremony.
With the contrast of confidence and sensitivity, I was destined to be in this role.
I absolutely love what I do - it encapsulates everything I am - and it's given me the opportunity to meet and make friends with the most amazing people!
Why I became a celebrant
I have considered this as a vocation for years - it is me to a T! The most important thing for me in life is connection - sharing stories, having a laugh, a cry and genuinely connecting with people - that's what this job is all about. Having been to many weddings/funerals and ceremonies as an observer, I came to realise this is the role I was made for! I have so much to offer and can genuinely vouch for my authenticity as a celebrant - I have no judgement and can adapt to any circumstance or situation - I am open and honest, creative, innovative and love meeting new people! The decision to take on this role and turn it into a living was a no-brainer!
What to expect from me as your celebrant
From the moment we meet I will work with you every step of the way to help you accomplish the ceremony you wish for.
I will be available for the entire planning process by phone, text or email. I believe the role of the celebrant to be an integral part of your day; I set the tone, ensure things run on time (within reason) make everyone feel welcome, comfortable and at ease; especially YOU! I am there as your support as much as your celebrant - rest assured, I'll have your back, no matter what.

As a funeral celebrant I can help make this all important day the perfect farewell - giving it structure, warmth and heart - I work alongside you and your family - offering guidance - I can give you ideas of poems/music/song choices/prayers - I can even help you write and deliver the eulogy if you wish - I will be there with whatever you need to ensure that you and your family put together a beautiful service in order to celebrate the life and memory of your loved one with style, elegance and class.
As a celebrant, I find this role incredibly rewarding - it has led me to the most extraordinary people - I am forever inspired by the strength and grace of families and loved ones.
I am genuinely honoured to be part of such a significant time in their lives.

What To Prepare For Your Ceremony
Secure your booking - as soon as you have your date set, let me know and book me! I will require a lodgement fee of $200 to secure your booking which will then come off your final payment - full disclosure, this is a non-refundable fee to cover any unforeseeable circumstances.
Notice of Intention to Marry - this is the initial form you will need to complete at least ONE MONTH prior to your wedding - we can go through it together at our first meeting - I will also need to sight the following ID:
- Birth Certificate - for proof of date and place of birth
- Driver's licence/Passport - for proof of photo identification
Arrange Our First Meeting - we'll have already spoken over the phone but then we'll need to meet in person at a time and place that suits - to get to know one another; go through your vision, ideas and any elements you'd like to include and may the planning process begin! I will follow your lead and help you in every way I can to personalise your ceremony and make it the memorable event you wish for!
Leading up to the day - During the weeks/months leading up to your ceremony, there will be plenty of opportunity for communication between us to fine tune the details and make sure everything is in place. Closer to the date, we will need to organise the following: Two witnesses for the signing of the register and certificates on the day - they can be anyone of your choosing, provided they are eighteen years of age or over.
Declaration of No Legal Impediment this is a declaration that will need to be completed as close to the day as possible - the details of which I will go through in our initial meeting and last but certainly not least, I highly recommend a rehearsal either the week leading up or the day before - I feel this is most important so you know exactly what to expect on the day - I will be there to guide you every step of the way!
